[Job Description]
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, organize, manage, and track annual MT Plan including budget, training, equipment inspection, process improvement, major improvement, downtime management and setting targets.
- Daily attendance of department technician membership
- Report weekly departmental work plans
- Lead in weekly corrective actions with reports and presentation at weekly quality meeting
- Lead quality improvement and productivity activities
- Verify preventive/predictive MT guidelines and checks are completed
- Downtime tracking by review of daily reports - propose reduction plans
- Attendance and support of productivity improvement projects and meetings
- Develop, track, and support after hours, weekend, and holiday work plans
- Propose, manage, complete major purchases and capital investment projects as needed
- Verify and monitor completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly checklists and other documents completed by department technicians
- Support company 5S3C and “Improvement Suggestion” programs
- Lead corporate ISO/TS/5-STAR audit preparation activities
- Participation in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
- All other activities requested by department supervisor, engineer, and manager
[Qualifications]
- Bachelor of Engineering degree preferred
- Willing to learn, can-do attitude, detail oriented
- Familiar with Microsoft office program such as Excel
- Manufacturing or automobile industry experience is plus
- Hands on experience, onsite and field work environment experience preferred
- Bilingual Korean required
